Biography

Shima (born August 17th, 1996 in a native reserve) is a member of the Blood Roses and former Shaman of her home community.

Early Life

Shima was born to a native woman in a native reserve not far away from the city of San Paro. Her father is an unknown white man. As such, Shima's mother and by extension, Shima, were greatly looked down upon in the community. Eventually, Shima's mother would run away from the tribe, leaving Shima in the care of the community's shaman.

When Shima reached the age of 12, the shaman appointed Shima has her successor, a move that caused some outrage amongst the people of the community, but ultimately was respected as choice of their wisest woman. The path of the Shaman is a lonesome one, as such, in the mind of the old Shaman, Shima was the perfect candidate. Her training went well and by the time of her coming-of-age ceremony, she had been given her shamanic tattoos.

Adult Life

After Shima had officially been declared an adult, she became the new Shaman. Initially Shima had felt perfectly content, feeling she had a place in the community and her sense of duty built a strong foundation for her to live off of. This changed in 2014, when a group of researchers and students arrived. Initially things were alright, until one of the students, Jacob, approached Shima. Over the coming weeks he would slowly break down her defences and seduce her, finally offering her to come with him to San Paro. Shima was initially hesitant, but Jacob began to exert more pressure on her until she finally agreed.

The night before the researchers would leave, Shima snuck out of her abode, seeking out Jacob to find out what his plan was. The researchers planned to leave at the crack of dawn, Shima would just need to hide in the back of one of their cars before then. Shima again expressed doubts, but Jacob shut her down, and promised her friends who will respect her for more than her occupation, a comment that cut deep into Shima, convincing her.

Upon arrival in San Paro, Shima learned that the friends Jacob was talking about was a gang calling themselves the Blood Roses. Shima was naturally lost and afraid, but Jacob strung her along, over time teaching her English, how to drive and how to use guns.
